The leisure node thrives on subtle and passive acts of engagement.

A circulating courtyard allows for the individual to be a spectator without being in the spotlight. This creates moments of vulnerability and openness within the community, instilling an innate feeling of trust. For the artists utilizing the open studios, the main experience viewpoint in the left image is distorted by an interactive light wall. This offers an engaging view for the individual, as well as privacy for the artist. We have also extended the artists residents to a second story level, to allow them to return the favor of observation back onto the individual.
